Return, Exchange & Refund Policy

At FM Perfumes, every product is carefully manufactured, inspected, and securely packed before dispatch to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition. Due to the personal nature of fragrance products and hygiene considerations, we maintain a strict Return, Exchange, and Refund Policy.

By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

  1. General Policy

Perfumes, Attars, Body Mists, Fragrance Oils, Room Fresheners, Car Fresheners, Candles, Gift Sets, Personal Care Products, and all other fragrance-related products sold by FM Perfumes are non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable once dispatched, except in cases specifically mentioned in this policy.

  1. Order Cancellation

Orders are processed quickly to ensure timely dispatch.

Therefore:

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been confirmed and processed.
  • Once an order has been packed or shipped, cancellation requests cannot be accepted.
  • If cancellation is approved before processing begins, any applicable payment gateway or transaction charges may be deducted from the refund, where permitted.

FM Perfumes reserves the right to accept or reject cancellation requests at its sole discretion.

  1. Return Policy

We do not accept returns under the following circumstances:

  • Change of mind
  • Change in fragrance preference
  • Personal dislike of a fragrance
  • Incorrect product selected by the customer
  • Duplicate orders placed by the customer
  • Products purchased during promotional offers or clearance sales (unless damaged or incorrectly delivered)
  • Minor packaging variations introduced by the manufacturer
  • Normal variations in fragrance perception due to individual body chemistry

Because fragrance is a personal and subjective product, differences in personal preference cannot be considered manufacturing defects.

  1. Exchange Policy

Exchange requests are accepted only in the following situations:

  • Product received is physically damaged during transit.
  • Wrong product was delivered.
  • Incorrect quantity was delivered.
  • Product has a manufacturing defect.
  • Product leaked during transit due to packaging damage.

All exchange requests are subject to verification and approval by FM Perfumes.

  1. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

If you receive a damaged, defective, leaking, or incorrect product, you must notify us:

  • Within 48 hours (2 business days) of delivery.
  • By email or WhatsApp using the contact details below.

Your request must include:

  • Order Number
  • Customer Name
  • Contact Number
  • Clear photographs of:
    • Outer shipping package
    • Shipping label
    • Product received
    • Damaged area (if applicable)
  • A complete, uninterrupted unboxing video recorded from the moment the sealed courier package is opened until the product is fully inspected.

The unboxing video is mandatory for all damage, leakage, missing item, or incorrect product claims. Claims submitted without a clear and continuous unboxing video may not be eligible for replacement.

FM Perfumes reserves the right to inspect the submitted evidence before approving any replacement.

  1. Replacement Process

Once your request has been verified and approved:

  • A replacement product will be shipped at no additional product cost.
  • If the original product is required for inspection, our team will arrange its return.
  • Replacement is subject to product availability.
  • If the product is unavailable, FM Perfumes may, at its discretion:
    • Offer an equivalent replacement,
    • Provide store credit, or
    • Issue a refund where appropriate.
  1. Refund Policy

Refunds are generally not applicable for successfully delivered fragrance products.

Refunds may be issued only in circumstances such as:

  • Duplicate payment received.
  • Order cancelled by FM Perfumes before dispatch.
  • Product unavailable after payment.
  • Replacement cannot be provided for an approved claim.
  • Failed online transaction where payment is successfully debited but the order is not created.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method wherever possible.

Depending on your bank or payment provider, refunds may take 5–10 business days to reflect in your account.

FM Perfumes is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or financial institutions.

  1. Failed Online Transactions

If an online payment fails but the amount is debited from your account:

  • Most payment gateways automatically reverse the transaction.
  • Refunds are generally processed to the original payment source within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

If you do not receive the refund within this period, please contact both your payment provider and our customer support team.

  1. Delivery Issues & Shipping Charges

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.

If an order is returned to FM Perfumes due to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address
  • Incorrect PIN code
  • Incorrect mobile number
  • Customer unavailable during delivery attempts
  • Refusal to accept delivery
  • Failure to collect the shipment
  • Cancellation at the time of delivery

the customer will be responsible for both forward and return shipping charges.

The order will be re-dispatched only after these charges have been paid.

If the customer chooses not to pay the additional shipping charges, the order may be cancelled. Any refund, if applicable, will be made after deducting shipping, handling, packaging, payment gateway, and other applicable administrative charges.

  1. Orders Returned Due to Courier Issues

If a shipment is returned solely due to a courier company’s operational error, FM Perfumes will arrange a re-dispatch at no additional shipping cost to the customer.

  1. Custom & Private Label Orders

Products manufactured under:

  • Private Label
  • White Label
  • OEM Manufacturing
  • Customized Fragrances
  • Corporate Orders
  • Bulk Orders
  • Personalized Packaging

are manufactured specifically for the customer and therefore cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded once production has commenced, except in cases of verified manufacturing defects.

  1. International Orders

International customers are responsible for:

  • Customs duties
  • Import taxes
  • Local government charges
  • Clearance fees

These charges are not included in the product or shipping price unless specifically stated.

Returns arising from customs refusal, import restrictions, or failure to pay duties are not eligible for refund.

  1. Quality Assurance

Every FM Perfumes product undergoes quality inspection before dispatch.

Minor variations in fragrance colour may occur due to the natural characteristics of fragrance ingredients. Such variations do not affect product quality or performance and are not considered manufacturing defects.
